Stool as object-art

The lockdown period has given us time to reflect and test ideas on making objects. To test out ideas & re-examine the meaning of objects in a time of scarcity.

This stool is one of our many continuous efforts in trying to repurpose recycled plastics; to breathe new life into the making of things, to find ways to celebrate beauty through ugliness. Made to be both a functional stool and a sculptural piece, “Sila Duduk, Jangan Lari” is our portrait of the current times and how we chose to respond to it.
