Retail flagship store for a fashion brand focussing on avant-garde archival pieces.

< An excavated space. A space-redux >
The client wished to have a retail space where the clothing pieces were presented as found artefacts from an excavation. As the brand focussed on the collecting and selling of archival fashion pieces from avant-garde designers such as Walter Van Beirendonck, Yohji Yamamoto and Boris Bidjan Saberi among others, they wanted a timeless space where styles were irrelevant: reflecting the forward-thinking nature of the clothing articles they brought in.
An environment where customers can take their time and be immersed with the artefacts; A space of contemplation and pause.
